High Photos

Remarking João de Castro’s 20 years career and Woman’s day, it toke place in Sotto Mayor’s Palace on the 8th of March 2005 the exhibition High Photos, revealing to the public 11 nude photographs with sizes between 2.70 and 4m de high. Having a dance show with choreography about Woman and a cocktail, this unique initiative in Portugal had the sponsoring and partnership of Hewlett-Packard large format, prints, joining the digital means to the photographic art in it’s the high peak, also introducing in the Portuguese market the concept Print On Demand for art reproduction. During this exhibition were sold collections of art postcards that vest in favor of the Abraço association, engaged in AIDS combat. Fotodigital Magazine as also supported this initiative and its director, José Antunes, as wrote the presentation.
